Hazel and Austin, Applecross, Strathcarron Wedding Photography

Posted on Sat, 8 Sep 2012

Hazel and Austin were married at the recently restored Clachan Church at Applecross on the West Coast of Scotland, followed by a wedding breakfast at the Applecross Walled Garden.

Taking advantage of the weather we walked the mile or so from the church to the gardens and captured some fantastic photos, me conveniently forgetting my car was still at the church and I needed another hike to get it back.

Mairead and Chris, Strathpeffer Pavilion Wedding Photography

Posted on Sat, 25 Aug 2012

Mairead and Chris were married at Lairg Parish Church with their wedding reception at the Strathpeffer Pavilion. A mixed day weather wise, a beautiful day as we arrived in Lairg for the bridal preperations which changed to light rain by the time we came out of the church.

A quick stop at the Struie Viewpoint proved a bit fruitless with high winds spoiling our chances, then on to The Pavillion for the wedding breakfast, the evening dance and a hog roast.

Charlotte and Sean Glenmoriston Inverness Wedding Photography

Posted on Sat, 11 Aug 2012

Charlotte and Sean, both from London, love the Inverness area, so decided to get married here, specifically in the fantastic Glenmoriston Townhouse Hotel in Inverness. A simple ceremony in the hotel was followed by a quick trip to the Inverness Islands for some photography, a bit too sunny, we quickly retreated to the cooler shaded area. Back at the hotel everyone enjoyed the evenings entertainment.

Kate and Martin Aldourie Castle Loch Ness Wedding Photography

Posted on Sat, 4 Aug 2012

Kate and Martin were married at the stunning Aldourie Castle on the banks of Loch Ness. During the bridal preperations Kate seemed quite nervous but kept her nerve and looked stunning. Having met the couple a few times before the wedding I had a feeling that it would be a fun day and I wasn't dissapointed, with both Kate and Martin laughing and smiling most of the day despite my terrible jokes.

The gardens and loch side location, coupled with the great weather, proved excellent for some great wedding photography, as did the marquee for the evening entertainment, including a special song written and performed for Kate by Martin.
